I just found a new section of my etsy account, a place where customers can leave feedback… I’m SO flattered by all the nice things people said! It’s nice to know that everyone is happy with their purchase! And some people even left photos. (which i LOVE!) And, I’m gonna share with you…
Nancy in Washington DC wrote: “cutest. pot. ever. It was so fun to read your instructions and put it together!” Thanks Nancy!!!
And Sun from San Francisco wrote: “Gorgeous pot, I absolutely love it! Thanks, Sonia, for including the dirt and rocks. Here’s a pic of it with an echeveria planted in it.” Thanks, Sun!!!

My Glazing Process

This is what it looks like when I’m glazing… I brush black glaze (it looks brick red) into the carvings. Then I wipe it off and dip the whole pot in glaze.

Glimpse
July 20th, 2011 · Pinch Me! Ceramics
Here’s a peek into my world. I’m working on some new pots! I thought I’d share what my workspace is like. Enjoy! xo
I just bought a new (for me) mid century-ish desk and LOVE it. But am desperately scared of ruining it. Hence, all the weird trays and paper and cutting board…
My handy cart. This thing is awesome! I can put all my tools and clay and boxes and pebbles and everything on this. Push it away against the wall when I’m not working and pull it out right next to me when I am!
And my lovely window! I leave it open most of the summer and I can hear the birds (and traffic). I can also see Dan when he comes home. He often comes to the window to chat or call me outside.

I think I’m gonna try this…
July 12th, 2011 · Food
I’ve been sick for like two weeks now and haven’t been able to exercise. I think I’ll try this. It seems like it would help with flushing out the bad stuff and help with my upset tummy!
jillian michaels recipe for losing five pounds in seven days
get 60 ounces of distilled or pure water
add a tablespoon of sugar free cranberry juice
add one dandelion root tea bag
add two tablespoons of lemon juice
drink the 60 ounces every day for seven days
this recipe works because it helps flush out excess water weight you have carrying around in your body.

YUM! I was getting together with a girlfriend last night for dinner and to catch up. She was going to make dinner at her house and asked me to bring the dessert.

AND… Peanut Butter Banana Sorbet
They complimented each other really perfectly! And was a good ending to a delicious meal.
ps. I don’t have an ice cream machine. but I found a great little tutorial on how to make ice cream with out a machine. it’s really easy, but takes a little time and patience.
