for the “second official craft day”, i’m going to show the ladies how to make this adorable bird mobile that i found on spool’s blog. i don’t really like how the head and beak look, so i’m going to redesign it a little bit, make the bird look a little cuter.

i tend to always find a good home for all the cute little crafts i end up making. and i just found who i’m going to make this mobile for! my best friend from college, ramona, just came for a visit this weekend. she was telling me about her daughter’s new found adoration of animals, bears, elephants, cats, etc. and that’s going to be the theme for decorating her new bedroom, animals. i think this mobile will be the prefect addition!

this is a photo i took of ramona and tyson in college. we were super hung over and at a greasy spoon diner. two really amazing people i’m glad to know.
