i made some pillow cases! i used a pattern and instructions from Simple Sewing by Lotta Jansdotter. I LOVE Lotta! and this book. her instructions are clear and easy. the photos in the book are clean and playful.

i picked out this great fabric at michael levine’s in the fabric district.

and thought that it would match my duvet cover perfectly! they don’t. but they look great anyways. now i’m going to have to make a new duvet cover! and look, even butter bean loves the new pillows!
