Sorry for the vague explanation. Yes, I pinch the form with my fingers. I then let the sphere dry to just almost leather hard and start carving my designs. This is also the time when I carve out a large hole or two for the top of the pot and where to plants peek out of. I will also carve a small hole in the bottom for drainage. When I&#039;m satisfied with my design and placement of all holes, I let the vessel dry all the way to the greenware stage. Then, it&#039;s off to the kiln.
